B-fest is a moment of freedom in social time, a political suggestion for speech and action that fragments tradition and deconstructs “today”. This is the general spirit on which the Anti-authoritarian newspaper Babylonia organizes for third year in a row the international Anti-authoritarian festival B-fest in the Fine Arts School in Athens Greece from the 25th to the 29th of May, 2011.
With participations on a political level such as Howard Zinn, Michael Albert, Adrej Grubacic, Bifo, Cris Spannos, David Graeber, Richard Stallman, Michael Hart and many more,
collectives like Crimethinc, Alternative Libertaire, One ship for Gaza, L.G.B.T.Q., Occupy California, Anti-authoritarian movement, Void Network,
Free Social Spaces around Europe, participations on a cultural level like Keny Arkana, Γιώργος Λάνθιμος(the producer of the movie dogtooth), Γιάννης Αγγελάκας , Μωρά στη φωτιά, Σπυριδούλα, Magic de spell, Υπόγεια Ρεύματα, Fundracar, Grain, Eco tatto, Berlin Brides, Valkyries , Ντίνος Σαδίκης and many more artists ,
and d.j. Sets such as Max Lafranconi, Electric Universe and others.
The massive participation of people interactively in discussions, gigs, art workshops, theater plays, movie views, and discussions of political fermentation overcame our expectations and proved that societies want and are able for anything while being in motion.
In this try to organize the 3rd B-fest, in means of self-organizing this festival and giving it a non-freight character without any sponsors, with free entrance for everyone.
